The New Ragdoll effect on Gears of War 2

From all the footage I have seen of this ragdoll effect from smoke grenades it looks like your character gets up really slowly. I got a feeling that everyone will be wazzing smoke grenades at people to down them for a close kill. Well thats what I'd do lol.The New Ragdoll effect on Gears of War 2

yeah from what I have seen so far when a player went down he got back up real slow and I've got a niggling feeling that its going to be a massive annoyance
Sounds quite annoying, but I'm still going to love this game.
yeah I'm not dissing the game I'm so excited for this game I'm doing a lil wee right now lol If this game did'nt live up to its hype (it deffo will though) I would probably jump lol
I think they gave the smoke grenage too much flexibility. It's not the concussion part I'm worried about, it's the fact it can be stuck to any surface, player, or thrown. So there's 10 (one for each player in a full match) on one map per round ... or more considering respawning type gametypes.

that actually sounds pretty annoying. but it's gonna be hella fun to do to other people lol. :D
I haven't seen one video though where people have been over using it. Finally something to get all the camper out of there holes.
i think the new smoke grenade will be great just cuz you can get campers out of there hole, it gives you an all new tactical option when defending your leader, and it'd just be fun as hell to knock someone down from the 2nd story of a building like on day one
Gears of War 2 won't be very good. It's a rushed sequel just to get out in time for the holidays. It doesn't even look like an improvement over Gears 1. And the ragdoll sucks because they don't use Havok or Ageia. They use some cheap in game physics.

[/QUOTE] WTF are you talking about the single player is longer deeper and like cliff said its bigger more badass why would epic rush the game they don't have to release it but obviously they started work in 2006 and they are nearly finished.
