HeY! WoW LoOK WhAT I CaN DO.

Im planning on purchasing some microsoft points and xbox live through the xbox console itself via credit card. I did some research online if its safe or what not but what worried me was the fact that if i want remove my credit card information I basically have to jump through hoops. I also read some cases of fraudulent charges on some peoples credit cards. So my question is, Is it really that bad to purchase stuff online with my credit card? or am i better off with the pre-paid cards? HeY! WoW LoOK WhAT I CaN DO.

umm, it's the 21st century. Now, if you buy stuff online from a non secure website, then yeas, I probably wouldn't buy it.Xbox live arcade is very safe my friend. I think this is a joke thread btw. Is this serious? haha
yep its safe. just be warned that if u buy xbox live with ur credit card u want to stop playing on live u have to call mcirosoft to tell them ur not paying for it anymore other wise they r just oging to keep on charging u for live. other then that u will be fine.
what can you do?....

If I were you I would only use pre-paid cards. Better to be safe than sorry, I don't want M$ to have all my CC info. I don't trust them.
I have had my 360 since launch day in the UK dec 6th 05(somewhere around then).from the first day i got it i purchased XBL with my credit card and for over two years my card was on there system, i bought plenty of points and i have never had a problem with, no extra charges no fraud, it's fine. Also when i wanted to change from my credit card to my debit card i just added a new card but getting rid of your old one is a very small hassle but a hassle non the less, i had to go onto microsoft.com sign in etc go through several pages before removing my old CC, i didnt have to ring them etc, it would have been easier if i could have just removed it from my 360 but in the end it was 10 mins of my time to remove it, i have heard several people say ''it's impossible to take your CC details off live'' and i can only comment on my expierence and i think it's fine not much different from emoving your card from other websites. Also if you use a card i suggest a password for logging into your 360, i have been using a password from day 1, you can set a password on your 360 using your game pad, a combination of any four buttons, just a little extra secruity incase anybody gets your log in info.IMO it's easier to use a CC then have to get a pre-paid card every time you want to buy an XBLA title, just my opinion.
Just don't fall for any ''FREE MICROSOFT POINTS'' scams and you'll be fine. Those ''stories'' you heard about people having stuff charged to their card? It's because they got scammed, not hacked.
If you're that worried then just purchase normal MS points cards.
i just buy pre paid cards
it will be safe to use your credit card on live
Buy prepaid cards especially with the interest rates of credit cards
what can you do?....
Yeah, thats what i'd like to know too.
