how do i put music ON to my 360?

i tried doing the media center thing and it said it was copying my songs onto the 360 but theres still nothing on my 360 >how do i put music ON to my 360?
You put the CD into the tray, it'll automatically come up with a music selection screen and start playing the first track.Then you just select 'Rip CD' or whatever it says, check the boxes of which songs you want and select 'Rip CD' again. They'll then be copied to your hard drive. Once it's done remove the CD, hit the 360 button in the middle of your controller to bring up your profile screen. Select 'Music' > 'Hard drive' > 'Artist'/'Album' or whichever, and then you should see your music.
