The official Fable 2 hype thread...

This thread is in response to the thread ''Fable 2 too overhyped?''. I want to see exactly how hyped everyone is for this game. Personally I think this will be an amazing game for so many reasons..In Fable 2:You can buy every single house/castle you see in the game.You can have a family (make them do the chores-if they don't do them right kill them).You have a little dog who does so many things for you.Every decision leads to a diiferent ending...Kill poets who sing tales of your glory.You have a sword, a rifle/musket (with sniping capabilities as seen in one video) and all sorts of magic/spells. Possibily more weapons tba. Just saw a pistol.You can earn money in many different ways (being a henchman, killing people, gambling, blacksmith).You can join or have someone else join your Fable 2 world online.There will supposedly be a 10-15 hour storyline and hundreds of hors of side quests and content.You can raise the rent of a building extremely high causing you to shift to evil.If you get into a fight with your sword your dog will attack the gun-wielding enemies and vice versa.If you play as a female character you can become pregnant.You can have someone create a statue of you.You can play fetch with your dog.If your dog is injured you may heal it, if you don't heal it, it will still follow you (even if it only has 3 legs) for as long as it takes. I honestly have no (well very little) interest in Fable 2. I'm definitly gonna wait for the reviews (and maybe demo/rental) before I decide to buy it.

I can't wait for this game! Honestly, if anyone even remotely enjoyed the original (which I loved), they'll enjoy Fable 2. Everything is better and more customizable, a true personal experience. Add in online co-op and you have an instant hit. Hoping the graphics and gameplay (including framerate) hold up. How will I make gold? Click the spoiler to reveal (recommended for those 18+):[spoiler] I shall be renting my wife out to my friends for 100 gold per night ... well, one of my wives. [/spoiler] The above just shows how fun this game can be.

speaking of 10x the guy said that Fable 2 will have 10x more content than the first one.
It looks good and I have already pre-ordered the limited edition (not for the collectable hobbe trophy but for the extra in game content)

RPG's simply do not interest me. But I am interested in seeing the reviews, and I will probably rent it.

I was a fan of Fable, definitely a flawed game, but none-the-less entertaining, so I plan on getting it within a week of its release. I'm still wary of ''working'' for money, I'm a fan of the tried and true ''kill the bad guys, they drop the money'' function in an RPG, but the Co-Op will be great, especially when you have several people getting it.
i cant wait for it... the game looks like a lot of fun with great value
