Any X360 Elite Owners Had Any Problems?

Hi, I am looking to get a X360 soon and I was looking into the Elite model. I think it looks the best and it has an HDMI output. I was just wondering if any Elite owners have had any RRoD problems because I am really impatiant when it comes to things like that,Thanks. Any X360 Elite Owners Had Any Problems?

Yes I know, but wasn't Microsofts claim that the Elite would eliminate the RRoD?

Okay then, well what would be the best 360 for me to get? I want to run it through my monitor like I have my PS3 doing and that is using an HDMI to DVI cable.

Ah, I didn't know all X360s have HDMI ports now. Meh, I don't really care about that HDD feature, especially when you have to keep the disc in the drive.. But I reckon I will more than likely be looking into the Elite, I think the black looks so much better than the horrible beige colour.
I've had 4 elites, 1 rrod 3 hours after I got it. 2 rrods, and the last the hdmi port wouldn't work. they are just the same as anyother 360

[/QUOTE]Why would you want to copy the game to your hard drive unless you could ply it without the disk. i dont understand what the point of that is. and ive had 4 X360's my first three were pro's and broke. i finally spent extra and got the elite and have had it for about a year with not issues.

My original 360 got the RROD and Microsoft recently replaced it with one with a newer chip. I immediately noticed that it doesn't heat up as much and runs much quieter. If you choose the elite, it would pretty much be for a bigger hard drive and cosmetics.

I have an Elite, after 6 months I got the Ring
I have had my elite since August and have not experienced any problems.
All 360's are the same, Elite is just black colored and comes w/ 120GB hard drive.
on July 10 i got the elite and had it for like till September 21 i had to go back to target and exchange it cuz it started freezing on me so i got a new elite and so far good and one more thing im on my 4 xbox since lunch the elite i traded was the one whit the falcon too
So I'd be just better off getting a normal X360 (Not the Arcade)? Because I don't plan to do anything online with it really, I'm not paying for LIVE and most of my friends have PS3s. I'm pretty much buying it for Fable II and the JRPGs that are on the X360, like Lost Odyssey. I'd just prefer a black one, that's all, but there isn't really any point in forking out that much more money when a normal one will do me just fine.
