Fable 2 or Saint's Row 2

Okay, I have traded in most of my games, because the lineup for this month is killer, including Farcry 2 and Fallout 3. Then Gears 2 to kick off November. But I am having a delima, what will be better in the long run, Fable 2 or SR2? Farcry, Fallout and Gears are all paid for, but only one can be baught from either Fable or SR. Not trying to be sarcastic at all. I just don't know which to get. Fable was awesome as an action rpg with some twists on the genre and SR was a great sandbox game that corrected some and added to the elements that made GTA awesome. I think both will be great in their own ways. I loved both of the originals and thus, having a hard time deciding between the two.
Molyneux with his false promises again. Online Coop wont even be playable out of the box. That's even more of a fail then when Too Human went from 4 player to 2.
Fable 2 for sure, going to be a revolutionary game. Also whoever said its not shipping with online co-op, deal with it. They already said it will be included in an update about a week after release, I think you can live without it for a week. And I think the whole online co-op deal, might be more on Microsoft's end not Lionhead.
Fable II. It's a fresh idea and should be alot of fun. Saints Row 2 is nothing more than a ghetto version of GTA without the creativity or tongue in cheek ness.
Fable looks promising, but the recent events aren't looking good for the final game: the co-op not being available for the first week and the pulling of the Limited Edition contents. Things are looking kinda grim right now.
Fable 2 of course. Though I must admit, Saints Row 2 has been fun as hell
Fable 2 over Saints Row 2 hands down. Sure Saints might be fun, but it wont have a story like Fable 2.

I'm already set on Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3, but since my budget is tight, I can't decide on whether to get Saints Row 2 or Fable 2 either. Right now I'm leaning towards Saints Row 2, since I don't really want to have to worry about two RPGs at one time, but I'm wanting Fable 2 because I somewhat liked the first one, and it looks really promising. I'll eventually own both games, but if I had to decide right now which to get first I would probably go with Saints Row 2.

I would say Fable 2 b/c i have not played a Saints Row game yet (I've heard it's very repetitive). Fable is a better game to me also b/c i like the RPG type game and the fact that you start with a young version of yourself and it allows you to grow your character however you want makes me like that personalization ( Unlike the pre-set in game character in other games). Fable 2 hands down/ You get a dog as a companion/ Now if that ain;t cool that i don't know what is.

Saints Row 2 isn't glitchy nor poorly developed and quite different than GTA. I personally find it more fun than GTA although GTA does own in graphics.
I'd rather have Saints Row 2. I'll likely have more fun in co-op with it and I'm still mad about all the lies told for the first Fable. Also if Fable 2 is anything like the first story wise, Saints Row 2 will have a better story.

I'm going to play both games but Fable 2 wins by far.

Actually the no co-op out the box is Lionheads fault....either way I'm picking up Fable 2, I want SR2 but Ill wait til after I get the other games coming later this season....too many to put that one towards the top of my list
As this forum has been swarming with people who can't wait for Fable 2 for months now (many of whom I might add either forgot what disappointments Fable, Black and White and The movies were or are simply too young to remember we have been here before with Lionhead and Molyneux) you were never going to get a fair consesnsus.The answer is simple If you want a sequel to the above average (but no better) Saints Row buy that. If however you want a sequel to one of the game industry's biggest disappointments since Enter The Matrix buy Fable 2.
