hello people :P 360 question

hey, i own a PS3 and a wii don't play the wii much.... but... my friend wanted to sell me his 360 pro for $250 it comes with a intercooler, about 10 GOOD games, 2 wireless controllers, all cables including hdmi, 60Gb HDD, and a headset, and some other stuff... thing is.. i wasent really thinking of buying another 360 (1st one broke bout...2 years ago RRoD..) i have a ps3, and they are roughly the same except for exclusives... but $250 or i will try to get him for $200 seems like a sweet deal to me... what do you guys think? hello people :P 360 question

im not just trying to make you get one, but WOW 250 for all that? the console alone (in new condition) is 300 bucks, those 2 controllers would be 100, those games could from 200-300 (assuming he paid full price for them).I SAY DO IT

Yeah, I would man. I was in a similar situation you are in right now. Last December, I was saving up for a PS3 when my friend offered to sell my his 360 for 60 Kuwaiti Dinars (about $224). Along with the 360 would come four controllers, two headsets, Halo 3, a Gears of War console faceplate, a 20 GB HDD, and he even offered to lend me all of his other games he wouldn't be needing, which were about 15 in total (which I had to return last month because he finally bought another 360, lol), so I basically got 16 games. I accepted his offer, and haven't regretted it since.However, unfortunately, I've recently had a lot of problems with it. About a month ago the 360's disc drive got messed up, so I had to get it fixed for about $50. Two weeks later, I got the RROD, and that cost me $75 to fix. Despite these occurences, I'm sure my 360 should last me another long while, so I'm not too worried.So yeah man, you should take up your mate's offer. His 360's also less likely to have problems, since it's a newer model (I think? It's got a 60 GB hard drive with it so unless your friend bought it seperately, that indicates that the 360 is a fairly new model; my used 360 was originally purchased in 2006, so that's probably why it had problems). Plus 10 good games is also a good addition. So is the HDD, especially because of all the stuff you'll be able to do with it come the Fall Dashboard Update. Also, if you don't mind, list the games your friend's offering, if you know. But in a nutshell, since you've got the cash, go for it.

Yeah I'd get it even if you wanted to just turn around and sell it all cuz you could probably make some extra $ from that. I don't know why anyone would sell their xbox right now though unless he just needs some $ or is getting a ps3...the next couple months are going to be awesome for gaming.I guess not if you really have no interest in Fable 2, Left4Dead, Gears 2, or Banjo-Kazooie. I have exactly zero interest in sci fi/alien crap at all but Gears isstill awesome.I think all the other big titles coming up are multiplatform so it's your call but I'd still recommend doing it. Especially if you could talk him down any cheaper than 250 lol then definitely do it.

The price is really good. So even if you dont want on I'd buy it and sell it to someone else for more. but If i had a ps3 i wouldnt bother with a 360. I'd rather save the money.
