Is Jade Empire still good?

I haven't played it before, but I just finished Mass Effect and learned about the title.. is it still a game worth playing despite the advances since it was made? I tried downloading Fable since I had never beaten it, but found it hard to beat the game with better 360 titles out there..Is Jade Empire still good?

Jade Empire is more than just ''good'' ... you must play it! And then think about what a current Gen version would be like
I think it's great, I like KOTOR and Mass Effect better but it's still definitely worth playing. :)
Definitely worth playing. I actually picked up a used copy for less then $10 last year and played it on my 360. Excellent RPG.
I just bought it along with Fahrenheit (Indigo Prophecy) and Fable TLC for ?0Bargain considering they each cost more than that direct from Marketplace
It's a great game, and I didn't think it got the attention it deserved.

When i got this game i got the collector's edition and it came with a second disc that included a secret character, so if you do intend on buying the game look for the collector's.
It was good value when it was released, now that should be dirt cheap you owe yourself the chance of playing it. Combat system could have used more work, but great plot, dialogue, and character development more than make up for it.
It is between KOTOR and Mass Effect. Jade Empire is real time as Mass Effect, but not as intense as ME. The story is quite good, but it is actually Canadian Chinese, not pure Chinese. No flying sword or Budda's Palm crazy stuff.
A definate buy I liked it better than KOTOR because it had the button mash element. (not a big fan of turn based)
I have yet to play this game.. can't wait, it looks sweet :)
I played it right when it came out.
It was a good game, but I was expecting something more like KOTOR, which I absolutely loved.
I didn't get that same experience, so I kind of ruined it for myself.

Is it still good, though?
I haven't played it...in a while.
I might have liked it more, if I had came at it with a different mindset.
