I heard that if you call MS and mention you purchased a new Elite they're ship you a transfer cable free of charge.
Find a friend with one. I bought an Elite when they launched and as most of my friends on Live started to get them, we just sent the cord to whoever needed it next. I got it in Minn., then shipped it to a buddy in Iowa, he shipped it to a buddy in SC, he shipped it to Illinois, he shipped it to Cali., and now its in Va., waiting for the next person that needs it.
theys a form to fill in on xbox.com you need proof of the second system also
can i call them to give send me the cable? because i dont wanna have to wait to send that form out, then wait for it to be sent out, because im giving my system to my brother like 2 days after i get my elite
